Welcome to the UNLV Fencing Club. Located on the UNLV campus, the Club is lead by Maestro Mark Berger formerly of the US Olympic Team. Official practices are everyday except Saturday. Tuesday and Thursday's practice are through the UNLV Athletic Department, and require that you sign up for the class at the beginning of the semester. The class is worth one elective credit or can be audited as many times as you would like. On Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, the club meets at 7:30pm and Sunday at 8:00am at the Sporting House at 3025 Industrial Rd.
Fees:
UNLV Fencing Club Dues: $25.00 per year + $5.00 Insurance fee
Standard Coaching Fees: $100.00 per month or $10.00 per lesson
- UNLV Students: $80.00 per month or $8.00 per lesson
- Members of the Sporting House: $80.00 per month or $10.00 per lesson
All members must register with the USFA in order to compete in tournaments.
The UNLV Fencing Club became officially recognized in September of 1999.
