Interests and Hobbies:
1) Firearms: I enjoy all aspects and genres of weaponcraft, but the firearm is my particular field of specialty. I've been shooting, repairing, and modifying firearms for most of my life, and it has always brought me pleasure (especially at times like this, when I shot this 1.3" group at 25 yrds).
2) Fencing: I am currently on the UNLV Fencing team and I love it. I fence Epee and Foil and I'm looking forward to learning the Sabre. I encourage you to come to a competition and watch. After all, it is the sport of kings.
3) Motorcycles: Not all motorcycles mind you. If it's top speed is under 130 mph, then it's not for me. I currently own a '94 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6. It is my baby, my confidante, my penis extension, and my security blanket.
4) Warhammer Fantasy: Warhammer Fantasy is a strategic wargame set in the lands of elves, dwarves, and evil unbound. Basically, you are the Lord General over an army. Your mission is to capture as much ground, drive off as many squads, and kill as much of the enemy as you can in the alotted amount of time. A side benefit to Warhammer is the actual army, which consists of miniatures that you have to assemble and paint. Some people collect armies for just this reason.
5) Movies: I hate television. I don't watch it and I don't condone it. Hell, I don't even know if I have an antenna connected to my TV. On the other hand, I do love movies, it doesn't really matter what type. I like anything from B horror to grand epics, but I tend to favor sci-fi and action.
6) Internet Relay Chat: IRC or Irc (pronounced erk as it is affectionately called), is a large network of computers that allow anyone with the right program and an internet connection to talk to others in real time. It's a great way to meet new people with similar interests from all over the world.
7) mp3's: Mpeg3 is a compression protocol for .wav files that allows huge files to be reduced to something quite a bit more manageable. As a bonus, the songs are of the same digital quality as a CD.
8) Body Building: A few years ago, I was a measly 5'9" and 170 pounds. I now stand at 5'10" and currently weigh around 186 pounds. It's a lot of work and a lot of time, but my goal is within reach. My goal is 200 pounds ripped to the bone, and believe me, that is no small feat. It has become a bit of a hobby for me to help others with similar programs. Since I started, I've learned so much and feel so good, that I wish the same for all my friends.
9) Ballet Theatre: I just can't stay away. I saw my first ballet, Faust, in Seattle, WA by the Seattle Dance Society. It was completely enthralling. I have since become quite the connoisseur and frequent performances by our own Nevada Ballet Theatre.
10)Rifts: Rifts is a role playing game set in the distant future after a catastrophic holocaust. The Earth is torn asunder by huge dimensional gateways called Rifts that open to many strange and wondrous worlds. In the world of Rifts, you can be just about anything you can imagine and there is much adventure to be had.
